You will have a shortlist if you are looking for a reliable crossover that is also stylish. The Volkswagen Tiguan is a must have on said shortlist. The 2020 VW Tiguan boasts a nice, family friendly esthetic. It focuses on a soft ride in place of speed, acceleration, or handling, thanks to the wide wheelbase. The soft suspension coddles riders around curves and rutted terrain. There is only 8 inches of clearance, so do not go rock climbing, but it is great for a family in snow and most roads.
Like the previous years, the 2020 seats up to 7 people. The front has a a low dash inside that houses either a 6.5-inch or an 8.0-inch touchscreen mounted high. 2020 Tiguan Interior Colors You can choose your Tiguan to come with black, gray, or a two-tone orange and black. The orange and black looks a lot better than it sounds.
- Saffrano Orange & Black
- Storm Gray
- Titan Black
The same as 2019 except for the SEL Premium R-Line and the SE R-line Black. These two trims will come with 20-inch wheels, while the SE R-Line Black will come with more features. See the Trims section below for more details. 2020 Tiguan Exterior Colors

2020 VW Tiguan Changes vs 2019
The Tiguan is a newer vehicle, having only come out in 2018 for the first time. That means that it will mostly be the same appearance wise. The changes are in the trims, safety equipment, and technology. Standard Changes:
- Automatic Emergency Brake
- Blind-spot Monitor
- Rear Cross-traffic Assist
Previous years would have required an additional $450 Driver Assistance Package to be purchased.
