2021 Tiguan Review in Seattle

The Volkswagen Tiguan is a must have on said shortlist.  The 2021 VW Tiguan boasts a nice, family friendly esthetic. While it may not be as fast as some of the other German brands, the Tiguan makes up for it with a comfortable, composed driving experience. The suspension coddles riders around curves and rutted terrain, but also provides feedback to feel nimble when the roads get twisty. Whether you plan on hitting the slopes, or hitting your favorite back roads , the 2021 Tiguan is plenty capable of handling whatever the Pacific Northwest throws at you!

Interior Features

Like the previous years, the 2021 seats up to 7 people. The front has a a low dash inside that houses either a 6.5-inch or an 8.0-inch touchscreen mounted high which both come standard with Bluetooth connectivity, back-up-camera, and Apple Carplay/Android Auto. Depending on trim level, you can also find comfort features such as heated seats and steering wheel, power seats, panoramic sunroof, and even a Fender® Premium Audio System w/ 8 speakers and subwoofer.

Engine Specs

All trims come with the turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 180 hp and 221 lbs/ft of torque.  The transmission is an 8 speed. While front-wheel-drive is standard on the 2021 Tiguan, most Tiguan models here in Seattle will come equipped with VW’s 4Motion All-Wheel-Drive.
